We all have that pushy voice that "knocks on our door" every day. Let’s work together to regain command over our own lives!

My Tips:

  • Journaling & Grouping Thoughts
    • When my thoughts are going wild, I love to journal. More specifically, I like to group my thoughts by categorizing them as past, present, or future. From there, I can see what is truly important, the present. I then look to see if these thoughts are rational or not. If they aren’t rational, note this, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 π™‘π™šπ™© π™©π™π™šπ™’ π™œπ™€.
    • Whenever I am doubting or criticizing my self worth, I like to journal at least 3 things I love about myself and 3 things I am grateful for. I do this every morning as well! It is a GAME CHANGER when it comes to mood improvement!

  • Surrounding Yourself With Loved Ones
    • Friends and family help us to remove ourselves from our own head. We are forced to be present with them which always helps my inner voices quiet.
    • Sometimes love from others reminds us to love ourselves. ❀

Β

  • Find Healthy Distractions
    • My favorite distractions when my inner critic gets loud are:
      • exercising, doing work/homework, cooking, cleaning, walking my dog, planning fun plans, yoga.

Β

  • Spend Time With Loved Ones
    • Connecting with your friends and/or family releases stress and helps you to β€œget out” of your own head temporarily. Our loved ones remind us that we are loved, too, and to smile and laugh! I love getting together with friends to walk my dog or to cook dinner!

Β

  • Tell That Voice to SHUT UP!
    • Literally! Sometimes the best thing to do is to tell that voice to STOP IT! You don’t need that negativity in your life. You are amazing and self-hate will get you NOWHERE!
